A tractor trailer jack-knifed and blocked the lanes of the eastbound Trans-Canada Hwy just one dm east of Tinkertown. The accident occurred at approximately 2:30 am on Friday, Aug. 22, 2008. No injuries were reported by the emergency personnel and the truck was the only vehicle involved in the incident which tied up eastbound traffic for a short time while emergency crews cleared the mess. Weather conditions and visibility was poor at the time of the accident due to a heavy rainfall and wind.
